Megan LaMarr, 22 of Polo, Missouri, entered eternal life unexpectedly on May 29, 2016 at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Megan entered this life on December 11, 1993 the daughter of Gene and Marcy LaMarr in Burlington, Wisconsin.
She was a 2012 graduate of Polo High School. Megan was a certified nursing assistant at Excelsior Springs Hospital Convalescent Center in Excelsior Springs for four years.
She was a country girl at heart that always wore cowboy boots, her baseball cap on backwards and loved pink camouflage. Megan is described by her family as a “tiny ball of fire.” She always said that she wasn’t small, she was “fun size.” Megan treated strangers like her friends and her friends like family. Megan had a huge heart evidenced by all the friends she had and the smile she always had on her face.
Megan was preceded in death by her grandfather Harvey LaMarr. She leaves to mourn her passing her father Gene LaMarr of Polo, her mother Marcy LaMarr of Lathrop, her sister Alyssa LaMarr and fiancé Dillon Hufford of Polo, her grandma Bernice LaMarr of Wisconsin, her grandparents Robert and Caroline Prokop of Payson, Arizona. Additional survivors include her uncle and aunt Dean and Tammy LaMarr of Wisconsin.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Polo High School gymnasium. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 2, at 2 p.m. at the Polo High School gymnasium. Burial will follow at Prairie Ridge Cemetery in Polo. Arrangements are under the direction of Stith Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Polo.
