Virgie R. Casey, 75, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away Oct. 5, 2015, at Liberty Hospital.
She was born March 30, 1940, to Berle Austin and Velma Corrine (Colby) Rice in Monte Vista, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Matthew Callister; her brother, Jack Rice; and her sister, Charlotte Arndt.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte and Rev. Mark Callister of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; grandchildren, Jeffrey Callister, Nathan Callister and Bethany Callister; and her brother, Fred “Budd” Rice and his wife, Carolyn.
