Sams, of the home; two sons, Everett Sams (Kathy) and Roy Sams (Sherry) both of Excelsior Springs; three daughters, Juanita Shepard, Sharon Clevenger (Ron) and Brenda Bickford (Mark) all of Excelsior Springs; five brothers, Bob Pierson of Hamilton, Mo., Larry Pierson (Lorene) of Lathrop, Mo., Albert Pierson, Jr. (Irene) of Turney, Mo., Dean Pierson (Mary) of Lawson, Mo., and Carroll Pierson (Judy) of Hamilton; one sister, Betty Pierson of Hamilton, 16 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the donor’s choice.
