Kenneth Wayne Beal Sr., 76, of Lawson, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Northcare Hospice House
Kenneth was born December 23, 1941 to Horace and Ottie (Knighten) Beal in Jacksonville, Alabama. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Kenneth worked at various manufacturing plants throughout his career. He was a longtime member of Union Baptist Church in Orrick, Missouri and a current member of Old Union Church in Lawson, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching sports and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Ethel and niece, Arlyn Beal.
He is survived by his second wife, Retta of the home; son, Kenneth Jr. and his wife Lisa Marie Beal of Liberty, Missouri; daughter, Lisa and husband Benny Oliver of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; stepson, Stephen and wife Valerie Foster of Lawson, Missouri; brothers, Curtis and wife Sue of Jacksonville, Alabama, Ronald and wife Karyl of Spring Hill, Tennesee, and Earl Beal and wife Kathy of Marion, North Carolina; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, August 9 at Old Union Church in Lawson, with service following. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions to Old Union Church, Veterans Community Project, or charity of choice.
